Intermed began business in 1981 and has since become the major specialised medical

bookshop and (E-)mail-order organisation in the Netherlands. The acquisition by Nedbook 

International in early 1998 has further enhanced its capabilities.

As Nedbook's Medical Division, Intermed supplies medical information, whether in printed or electronic

format, to institutional clients as well as professional individuals in all medical fields.

 Veterinary sciences are also covered.  

Intermed actively promotes new and forthcoming medical publications.  Customers can choose to

receive Intermed's regular mailings by medical discipline, in electronic format.
